Scousers and Brummies have the ugliest accents in the British Isles, study finds

A survey of what people think of regional accents has come up with no surprises when it comes to the accents from Liverpool and Birmingham.

The accent reckoned to be the nicest to the ear is from southern Ireland (but isn't always the easiest to understand).

There are some amusing links to follow to hear accents (but don't worry about the goat's accent...)

    Ive read that English learners studying and speaking English before the age of 14,their accent would develop better.
