"Still lie the sheltering snows, undimmed and white;
And reigns the winter's pregnant silence still;
No sign of spring, save that the catkins fill,
And willow stems grow daily red and bright.
These are days when ancients held a rite
Of expiation for the old year's ill,
And prayer to purify the new year's will."

    I visited Tunisia a long time ago and a return visit is definitely overdue. I'm trying to work out my schedule for next year and Tunisia is definitely on my list.

    I know that tourism took a bad hit a few years ago following the terrorist attack in Sousse. Have things picked up a bit since then @medmans?

    I really would like to visit Tunisia again. The last time I was there was in the late 1980s, so I think it will have changed a lot since then @Hazem18.

    I think that is one of the reasons why so many people from the UK like to visit, because it makes such a wonderful difference to the weather that we have here most of the time!

    Tourism took a very nasty hit a few ago when Sussex, a popular tourist destination was targeted by a terrorist attack. I'm not sure if it's recovered even now @GemmaRowlands. I went year ago but really liked Tunisia as there's not just beaches but sa lit of very interesting places to visit.
