"Still lie the sheltering snows, undimmed and white;
And reigns the winter's pregnant silence still;
No sign of spring, save that the catkins fill,
And willow stems grow daily red and bright.
These are days when ancients held a rite
Of expiation for the old year's ill,
And prayer to purify the new year's will."

Is it difficult to live alone for a girl in your country?

sammanisammani Posts: 432 ✭✭✭
As a girl some times I worry.because my parents always have to worry about me.they aways have to follow me.for a example after 6 p.m.or eary morning I am not able to go alone any where.as it is not safe some areas in my country for a girl.andalso I am not able to live alone in a house.so I always worry about this.without parents it is not safe to live alone.this will be okay when I have a husband.but then without him it is not safe to live alone.so if some one need to love alone there will be a lot of problems for a girl.actually it is falt of my society.so what about your country.??it is okay to live alone. :/

    I have lived alone most of my life in all sorts of places @sammani and have never worried about it. I avoid walking late at night in places I don't know or might not be very safe, but apart from this, never have any concerns about being on my own. Walk tall, walk as though you know where you're going and you will be fine.
