"Still lie the sheltering snows, undimmed and white;
And reigns the winter's pregnant silence still;
No sign of spring, save that the catkins fill,
And willow stems grow daily red and bright.
These are days when ancients held a rite
Of expiation for the old year's ill,
And prayer to purify the new year's will."

Israel

More and more guests from Israel visiting our country.

The other day I met some very nice people from there. Some of the family live in Swiss, but the elderly moved over tho Israel.

Is here someone from there? - I'd like to know more about them. I mean I know their past.

    I am not sure if there are any members of the Forum from Israel @Hermine. Youngsters are often seen in Nepal, trekking usually. More and more older people too. In Kathmandu I used to teach with a lady who had survived Auschwitz and who had resettled in New Zealand before she got itchy feet and spent some years in Nepal teaching young children. She then went to work in one of the townships in South Africa.
