"Still lie the sheltering snows, undimmed and white;
And reigns the winter's pregnant silence still;
No sign of spring, save that the catkins fill,
And willow stems grow daily red and bright.
These are days when ancients held a rite
Of expiation for the old year's ill,
And prayer to purify the new year's will."

Discretion

Hi teachers.

Any issues or concerns will be under the discretion of the management.

I don't know think the above sentence is correct but I think you got what I am trying to say. I have seen such sentence after a couple of points in Terms and Conditions. Could you please tell me the sentence.

Thank you.

    Hi Vocamania,

    At someone's discretion means that this someone will decide or do something accordingly to their own judgment.

    In your sentence, I think it means that the admins will deal with any issues and take action accordingly to their own judgement/appreciation only and no need to argue. They are in charge.

    Thanks for your prompt response.

    Yes, you are right. The management will deal with any issues.....
    How to put it in a sentence correctly? Is my sentence correct?

    Thanks.

    I like it sometimes when staff can a bit of discretion and not be too rigid. I don't like people who are jobsworths @vocamania.
