On this breezy October morn, I walk
in the swift shadows of cloud-cursing rooks,
watching the world wake on the horizon.

All houses wherein men have lived and died
Are haunted houses. Through the open doors
The harmless phantoms on their errands glide,
With feet that make no sound upon the floors.

We meet them at the doorway, on the stair,
Along the passages they come and go,
Impalpable impressions on the air,
A sense of something moving to and fro.

Road to Bucharest

Every Years me and my friends let's take a trip in a european union country. This year we have been in Bucharest. It's a very beautiful city, has a lot of monuments and there is the second bigger palace in the world ( the parliament). There are more beautiful bar and restaurants and during the night in the central zone it's possibile to drink cocktail and beer in quite or confusing rooms. We have visited the Therme of Bucharest ( wonderful ). Despite the beauty of country, we found the negative notes. Primarily the rudeness of the inhabitants of the city, particularly the airport security.

I visited Bucharest for the first time in 1981 and then I went again last year @antonio_dc. So obviously it has changed a lot since (the parliament building wasn't there then). I think people in capital cities are often less friendly than folk from outside in most countries. Everyone loves to hate Parisians and Londoners for example.

I liked the coffee bars in Bucharest. Some of the streets reminded me of France.
