    How about making up a story using your own words or someone elses?
  • ech0panditech0pandit Posts: 330 ✭✭✭

    Thanks, @amatsuscribbler for the idea! It's in the following link because I don't want to invade this peaceful place. ;)

    Hi @verom_gonzalez

    How lovely your post ist and it really entertained me. You've used word after word from the list, that is not easy to pack them in a useful story.

  • amatsuscribbleramatsuscribbler Posts: 3,066 mod
    @verom What an awesome story! Well done you! :)
  • JuleeJulee Posts: 190 ✭✭✭
    Such a lovely story. It was really like a dream which sometimes becomes hard to explain to someone but you write it in a very organized way. I should say it is called creativity :)

    Thank you for your inputs, guys. Appreciated. I'll be posting the worksheet that I chose from the Mad Libs site for this challenge along with your words filled in the format, really soon.

    Till then, more participants please! :blush:

    Guys, guys, guys,
    Hermine said:

    person's - car

    - person's- shoes

    Julee said:

    - person's - dress

    You have to give me a person with an apostrophe "s" when I say person's, not that something belonging to the person. e.g,
    person's - Hermine's (person = Hermine + an apostrophe with s)

    @ech0pandit - There is something you might want to change if I spot it for you.

    - verb/ed- shot

    Verb/ed: It says a verb with an "-ed". You've to provide a verb in past participle form.

    PS - @Julee
    //"exciting" is an adjective. You may use "excite" instead.//

    And here are the stories.

    @verom_gonzalez's story:

    APPLES!

    Red, strange apples! Today we are going to eat apples. I am going to play the most. My woman and I are having a plum picking contest this year. Every summer we go to child's farm to pick a hand of apples. This year woman wants to make book, so we need a lot. When we arrive the garden, man counts out our apples. We anxiously await the final count. My child and I finished! Well actually I had one more than him, but it had a green slimy worm in it. That night we had great applesauce!

    -----------------------------------------

    @Hermine's story:

    APPLES!

    Red, fast apples! Today we are going to cook apples. I am going to toy the most. My child and I are having an orange picking contest this year. Every winter we go to car farm to pick a mascara of apples. This year woman wants to make shoe, so we need a lot. When we arrive the kitchen, he counts out our apples. We anxiously await the final count. My she and I dreamed! Well actually I had one more than him, but it had a pink slimy worm in it. That night we had small applesauce!
    ------------------------------------------------

    @ech0pandit's story:

    APPLES!

    Red, lustrous apples! Today we are going to prepare apples. I am going to paint the most. My Ousmane Dembele and I are having a pineapple picking contest this year. Every autumn we go to Coutinho's farm to pick a bed of apples. This year Sergi Roberto wants to make football, so we need a lot. When we arrive the Camp Nou, Lilly counts out our apples. We anxiously await the final count. My Michelle and I played! Well actually I had one more than him, but it had a red slimy worm in it. That night we had humongous applesauce!
    ----------------------------------------------

    @Julee's story:

    APPLES!

    Red, magificent apples! Today we are going to fight apples. I am going to delight the most. My Benjamin and I are having an apple picking contest this year. Every fall we go to Benjamin's farm to pick a sandal of apples. This year they want to make people, so we need a lot. When we arrive the mountain, she counts out our apples. We anxiously await the final count. My he and I glorified! Well actually I had one more than him, but it had a pink slimy worm in it. That night we had little applesauce!

    LOL I like everyone's story and had a great laugh, we should do this more often.
  • verom_gonzalezverom_gonzalez Posts: 6,169 ✭✭✭✭
    Thanks, @Dora! It was fun. There were rare or crazy pairs of words, and that's great. I like something different from each story. So, I'll be waiting for the next game! ;)
  • DoraDora Teacher's Pet Posts: 5,347 mod
    For me, some phrases from every story were quite interesting and amusing. :smiley:
    a hand of apples
    a mascara of apples.
    woman wants to make shoe, so we need a lot
    a bed of apples.
    a sandal of apples.
    we are going to fight apples

    Thank you, @ech0pandit for requesting this challenge. I was afraid that my first challenge went in vain because despite giving a lot of explanation, people literally didn't get my point. Moreover, I found this challenge a bit offensive at times. But I am so glad that you all liked it. And also - thanks to @Frank and @Teach, for taking some time out for me. :)

    No problem @dora and I really don't think that this challenge could go wrong, it is really getting on my mind, whenever you find something written wrong you always have the urge to correct it and for that reason only it gives me fun and good sense of humor.

    Honestly if you hadn't posted it after request , I'd have done that.
    the most amusing sentence I found was:- @Hermine 's .... My she and I dreamt.
    @Julee 's... My he and I glorified.
    other than that I portrayed world class football players apple counters and farmers.
