"Still lie the sheltering snows, undimmed and white;
And reigns the winter's pregnant silence still;
No sign of spring, save that the catkins fill,
And willow stems grow daily red and bright.
These are days when ancients held a rite
Of expiation for the old year's ill,
And prayer to purify the new year's will."

Do you have a favourite Christmas film?

Tonight, I watched "Home Alone" for the first time, which is astonishing considering it's such a popular film. But I enjoyed it.

I would say that my favourite Christmas film is "The Holiday".

What about you? Will you tell me about your favourite Christmas film? :)

    I'm not sure if I have seen either of them. When I was a kid I used to love watching The Great Escape with Steve McQueen, though I don't know if they still air this.
