In this 5 minutes video, there is a funny experiment on kids. They found the most important factor for success.
The kids were four years old.They had put each kid into a room and told them"we're going to leave now with a "marshmallow" for 15 minutes.
If we come back and find a "marshmallow" we will give you another one.
They found after 15 years the kids who didn't eat the "marshmallow" they were success in their life and got high grades, great job and the relationship with around them was successful.
That's because they have this awareness about self_discipline and delay gratification although they were a four_year_old.

    Self discipline is the key to success. I have it in some ways, and probably the marshmallow would have been safe with me, but only because I don't like them all that much @taghried!

    yes, you're right also we should have the determination and stamina to get the work done.

    I hate routine, but I find if I have things that have to be done, this is the best way to make sure that they get done @taghried.

    I should probably try and set myself some rules to do the housework more regularly. I really lack self discipline when it comes to this!

    yes, we all know the rules and having this ambitious to self discipline but eventually, it depends on our circumstances. @mheredge

    When it comes to food that I live @taghried, unfortunately I am very short of self-discipline. The only way I have to control over eating is but not keeping those 'naughty-but-nice' snacks in my pantry. I was stupid to think that I could exercise some control. Now I have eaten them all, I will not be replacing them.

    @mheredge In this case, we'll throw this concept(self discipline)away, and say_Bonne appétit :D

    I am running low on too many tempting snacks @taghried, so now I'm having to exercise self-discipline not to buy any replacements!

    I know this experiment.
    I think I belonged to the kids with lower endurance. I wouldn't have seen any sense in wating until they allowed me to eat it.

    there is a diet snack, as (Kim Kardashian and their family ) they're always eating snacks without increasing in their weights, Have you tried it before? @mheredge

    yes,you're right for me I'm against with any experiments on children, it's non sense. @Hermine
