By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer.

Helen Hunt Jackson - September
The breezes taste
Of apple peel.
The air is full
Of smells to feel-
Ripe fruit, old footballs,
Burning brush,
New books, erasers,
Chalk, and such.
The bee, his hive,
Well-honeyed hum,
And Mother cuts
Chrysanthemums.
Like plates washed clean
With suds, the days
Are polished with
A morning haze.

edited April 2019 in Change a letter
How to play:-

Look at the previous word: In this game, a 7-letter word.
Swap the letters around and / or change a letter to make a new word from the previous word in the game.
Words should only be used once per game.
Please note - If you want to add more than one word, write them in one post, but be sensible. This is meant to be a game for everyone.

Oh, and make sure you are on the right page!

    So :

    hearted - cheated

Before you changed your text Verom, I saw "No, no"! And the changed text was not there yet, so I could not respond to your new word "hearted" but I responded to your "No, no" and to the last word (Eziza) "threads". That is why I asked you what was wrong! So because you called "no" twice, I responded.
By the way, "diaster" really exists, although I think disaster is much nicer, but that has a letter too much!

@Ezîza , you can't make "cheater" from "yachted".
    So back to

    yachted
