By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer.

Helen Hunt Jackson - September
The breezes taste
Of apple peel.
The air is full
Of smells to feel-
Ripe fruit, old footballs,
Burning brush,
New books, erasers,
Chalk, and such.
The bee, his hive,
Well-honeyed hum,
And Mother cuts
Chrysanthemums.
Like plates washed clean
With suds, the days
Are polished with
A morning haze.

Where is the strangest place you have slept?

As humans, we all need to sleep, but where is the strangest place you've slept?

I've seen people asleep on public transport (short distance!), on benches, on the grass in the sun, in shops.. lots of places.

I think the strangest place for me is on a boat, and not one that I was supposed to be sleeping on like a cruise ship!

What about you? Where is the strangest place you have ever slept?
