"Still lie the sheltering snows, undimmed and white;
And reigns the winter's pregnant silence still;
No sign of spring, save that the catkins fill,
And willow stems grow daily red and bright.
These are days when ancients held a rite
Of expiation for the old year's ill,
And prayer to purify the new year's will."

    Explanations on Q-5

    ATTACH means almost the same as fasten.
    ATTACH: to fasten or connect one object to another

    You can either send an e-mail without attaching anything, or you can attach a PDF file or image files to your e-mail.

    REACH means almost the same as touch.
    REACH: to move your arm to touch or lift something with your hand.

    He reached into his bag in search for his wallet.
    She reached for her helmet to cover her head, but couldn’t make it in time.

    @Paulette
    Keep it up! More quizzes coming soon!
    Meanwhile, looks like @Practical_Severard has some challenges for us to tackle!

    Enjoy learning, everyone!
