A swarm of bees in May
Is worth a load of hay;
A swarm of bees in June
Is worth a silver spoon;
A swarm of bees in July
Is not worth a fly.
There I was on a July morning,
I was looking for love.
With the strength
Of a new day dawning
And the beautiful sun.
And at the sound
Of the first bird singing
I was leaving for home.
With the storm
And the night behind me
Yeah, and a road of my own.

We read an article discussing a new concept called the 15 minute city, and the affect it could have on us:

Vocabulary Top 10:

frenetic - filled with excitement, activity, or confusion : wild or frantic

dazzle - to greatly impress or surprise (someone) by being very attractive or exciting

outskirts - the parts of a city or town that are far from the center

mould - (also mold) to create, influence, or affect the character of (someone or something)

prism - a transparent glass or plastic object that usually has three sides and that separates the light that passes through it into different colors — often used figuratively to describe a way of looking at or thinking about something that causes you to see or understand it in a different way

shutter - to close (a business, store, etc.) for a period of time or forever

urban sprawl - a situation in which large stores, groups of houses, etc., are built in an area around a city that formerly had few people living in it

influx - the arrival or inward flow of a large amount of something (such as money)

departure - a new or different way of doing something

anonymity - the quality or state of being unknown to most people : the quality or state of being anonymous

Does your current neighbourhood fulfil these six functions: living, working, supplying, caring, learning and enjoying?
Would you like to live in a 15 minute city, or do you like your city the way it is now?
