There I was on a July morning,
I was looking for love.
With the strength
Of a new day dawning
And the beautiful sun.
And at the sound
Of the first bird singing
I was leaving for home.
With the storm
And the night behind me
Yeah, and a road of my own.

Is worth a silver spoon;
A swarm of bees in July
Is not worth a fly.

Is crime a big problem in your country?

Here, there is quite a lot of crime, but I know it is nothing compared to some other places - even in this country.

I can walk down the street alone at night and feel quite safe, and I can leave my door unlocked and not expect to get broken into.

What about you? What kind of precautions do you have to take against crime in your country?

    Where do you live in the UK that you leave your door open (on the other hand, don't say!) I didn't think anywhere in the UK was that safe any more.

    Even Nepal, where there's very little crime, people take care. I was bemused by my friend who takes his kukari knife to the bedroom with him at night, even though it is in a very safe and remote village, miles from anywhere.
